Work – Beaufort House Chelsea – Redesign

Recently I had the chance to work on a UK-based restaurant website. The project came to me via AVM, London, a London-based content development agency.

The Beaufort House Chelsea website was built on WordPress, with full-size background videos and images. To make it possible, I used the WordPress ACF plugin for custom fields, WP Simple 301 Redirect to manage redirects, and the WordPress SEO plugin by Yoast.

Performance was the word most discussed from the very first stage of the project, and every design and development decision was made with it in mind. When I benchmarked the new Beaufort House Chelsea website against the old one, performance had improved by 10%.
